Roxana Rezai

Student Liaison

Roxana is a student at the University of Washington School of Law, where she is pursuing a concentration in International and Comparative Law. She is the co-founder and president of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association of Washington.

Last summer Roxana worked as a legal intern at the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, helping represent low-income immigrant survivors of domestic violence who qualify for immigration relief under the Violence Against Women Act. Before starting law school, Roxana worked as a legal assistant at the National Legal Sanctuary for Community Advancement, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the human rights and dignity of Middle Eastern, Muslim, and South Asian Americans facing post-9/11 discrimination. This summer, she will be interning at the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project in San Francisco.

Roxana was born in Orange, California to Iranian parents. She earned her B.A. in Social Welfare and Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005.
